How to add Nominee Details in HDFC Credit Card Insurance

Hello everyone,

In December 2023, HDFC Bank approved my upgrade request from HDFC Regalia to the exclusive HDFC Infinia Credit Card, which is invite-only. Stay tuned for my story on how I secured this upgrade in the next post.

Infinia offers excellent accident coverage. Here are the features:

  • Accidental Air Death cover worth Rs. 3 Crore INR
  • Emergency overseas hospitalization up to Rs. 50 lakhs INR in case of emergency
  • Credit Shield Covers for to 9 lakhs INR.

    • I hope I never have to use it, but I still needed to submit nominee details to activate it.

    In the welcome kit, I received a Nominee Updation Form (displayed on the left side), which requires filling out and submission to a nearby HDFC branch. Frankly, it's a hassle for me, so I've been unnecessarily delaying it. Below is a scanned copy of the form.


    Incidentally, I was checking all the features of the Infinia card on the HDFC bank website and encountered the Webform. This link has all the eligible HDFC credit cards in the dropdown. You can select yours and fill out the nomination.

    While exploring the features of the Infinia card on the HDFC Bank website, I stumbled upon the Webform. It includes a dropdown menu with all eligible HDFC credit cards. Simply select yours and complete the nomination process.













    In this form, 
    1. I had to fill in my card details. For that, I just had to get up and get my Card from my wallet. That was also too much work for me. But I did not let my procrastination to come in my way. 👲
    2. On the next page, I received " Thank you for the details provided." message. I think it is submitted.














    Please use Webform link to fill out nomination details as soon as possible. 👍

    Also, every Add-on cardholder can complete a separate nomination form. My wife is the add-on cardholder of my Infinia card. She has designated me as the nominee.
